Valenzuela Elected IESP Board President
New officers and directors announced for 2021-2022 IESP board
MINNEAPOLIS – Sept. 7, 2021 – The Incentive & Engagement Solution Providers (IESP), a Strategic Industry Group within the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA), has elected new officers for 2021-2022.
Juan Manuel Valenzuela, CPIM, CEO, Above Target, will serve as President of the IESP Board. Valenzuela has been involved in the incentive industry since 2009, when he started his company Above Target, which focuses on incentive and loyalty programs in Mexico. Since the beginning of IESP, he has served on the board where he focuses on making sure resources are used carefully and in ways that offer the greatest benefit to IESP members and the industry.
“The IESP Board is working to create more value for IESP members, the rest of the IMA, and the worldwide business community by providing education on and promoting the benefits of results-based incentive programs. We are also determined to provide our members with Brand Awareness, Education, and Thought Leadership. I am sure this will be a year full of positivity for our SIG,” Valenzuela said.
The IESP also elected Lincoln Smith, IP, HMI Performance Incentives, vice president; and Cindy Mielke, CPIM, Tango Card Inc., treasurer. David Gould, CPIM, 360insights, serves as past president. Heather Abbott, CPIM, Powerhouse Brands Consulting; Peter Cannon, Ticket Jones; Brant Dolan, IP, Quality Incentive Company; Chris Galloway, CPIM, Brandmovers, Inc.; and Sheryl Shewman, U.S. Bank, will serve as directors.
