DEIB Session – Microaggressions in the Workplace

This interactive workshop is designed to raise awareness and promote a deeper understanding of microaggressions, their effects, and how to effectively address them in the workplace.

Participants will explore various types of microaggressions that may target race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, disability, and other identities.
Participants will understand the intersection of bias and microaggressions
Through engaging activities and open discussions, attendees will learn how to identify microaggressions and develop strategies to foster a more inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
Participants will leave with tools to continue the conversation with their teams

Hummingbird Humanity will facilitate with RGCA and IGCC gift card industry experts. This will be a 60-minute member conversation, with opportunities for questions and reflection designed to help you think about how to create safe workplaces that mitigate and address instances of microaggressions.
