IMA Strategic Industry Groups and Chapters Honor Five Outstanding Volunteers with IMA Spirit Awards

Brant Dolan, Martha Weaver, Mike Landry, Robert Ward and Mark Gregg recognized for industry-leading work and contributions of time and talent.

CHICAGO – July 24, 2019 – The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA), which advocates for and promotes the use of incentives and recognition to improve business performance, took time during its recent IMA Summit, in Chicago this week, to recognize the organization’s own outstanding volunteers with the IMA’s new Spirit Award. Four IMA Strategic Industry Groups (SIGs) each recognized one of their member volunteers for time and contributions toward furthering the organization.

Spirit Award recipients are selected based on having made an important contribution to the IMA and the SIG/Chapter through their volunteerism and for how they have exemplified the mission of the IMA and the SIG.
Incentive & Engagement Solution Providers (IESP)
Brant Dolan, CPIM, director business development, Quality Incentive Company,
has served on the IESP board since the group was formed in 2016. His passion and enthusiasm for the SIG and incentive industry helped him to keep the group focused and moving forward at a time when the momentum was needed.

Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC)
Martha Weaver, director merchant relationships, Raise.com, has been an active member in the gift card community for years. Weaver donates her time to the IGCC, IMA and other industry organizations. Her focus is promoting industry education.  Just this year, Weaver served as IGCC’s vice president of education, worked on the IMA summit education program and assisted with the revamping of the IMA awards.

Incentive Manufacturers & Representatives Alliance (IMRA)
Mike Landry, CPIM, vice president special markets, Tumi.
When IMRA volunteer leaders learned of this new award, they determined that there was only one person they wanted to honor with the very first award. That person was Mike Landry. Landry is the first person to step forward and volunteer, whether for IMRA, the IMA, the industry or someone he just met.

Incentive Travel Council (ITC)
Robert Ward, CPIM, director of sales, Ovation Rewards, AccorHotels,
has been on the ITC board for many years and is an important contributor to the IMA Certification and Professional Education Committee. He also serves on the IMA Corporate Outreach Committee. Ward recognizes the important role the IMA plays in spreading the word about incentives and wants to ensure that the IMA and the ITC maintain their focus and making this happen.
IMA Europe
Mark Gregg, CEO, Bonago Incentive Marketing Group,
was one of the three founding members of IMA Europe and has served on the board since its inception. He also created and established the International Gift Card & Loyalty Summit, which provides the educational foundation for the European gift card industry. In 2014, Gregg and the Summit successfully advocated that gift cards and vouchers should be a tax-free incentive for employees in Germany.
