IMA President Ted Moravec, CPIM, vice president, Incentive Concepts, described Landry as a consistent presence in the incentive industry who has been a vital part of growing the incentive marketplace. “Mike readily participates in any project, committee, task force, speaking opportunity, or media interview asked of him,” Moravec said.
As a newcomer to the incentive industry 12 years ago, Moravec said Landry’s name always came up as the industry person to get to know. “Mike was everywhere,” Moravec explained, citing Landry’s many years of service on boards and committees for the IMA, the Incentive Manufacturer’s & Representatives Alliance (IMRA) and the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF).
“Mike exemplifies what it means to support the incentive market through his personal involvement. He is also the first person to recognize and appreciate anyone else’s contributions,” Moravec said. Landry continues to volunteer his service to the IMRA board and co-managing the Special Market Dialogues. He champions recognition by chairing the IMA Circle of Excellence Awards program.
Note: Mike Landry also received a Spirit Award
